Post by Steve » Wed Nov 23, 2005 9:57 pm

Hi all

You are cordially invited to the inaugural event at the new Kingsland course in Shrewsbury. This is your chance to play the newest course in the UK, and get a feel for the place before the Tour event next May.

Invite is:

HERE!!!!!

More directions can be found at http://www.shrewsbury.org.uk/index.cfm? ... t&cmid=137

Central location and hospitality will be A+! make an effort people :)

Please let us know if you're intending attending as soon as possible - we need to know how many spuds to cook and what size cauldron to use for the soup!

Regards

Steve

I am pretty sure that Scott, Rick and I will be out there. Any idea how many people you are expecting? Is it more likely to be choose your partner or random doubles?

Looking forward to seeing pics of the course. Is it actually on the school grounds?
Frolf it up!!!!

I think we may be looking at 8-9 locals and maybe 10 guests (pos more...)

More than Likley random doubles mate. But we will see what people want on the day etc.

Yep we have the school grounds now for half the course (manicured land - heated club house with toilets etc) and rest of the holes played along side the river severn.

Look forward to seeing you there :E

It'll be semi-random :) If you've got a preferred doubles partner though, that's cool.

We've got 9 single chainers, 4 skillshots and the Indian Monster. Holes on the school grounds will be baskets, and most of the riverbank holes will be taped trees, so we're pretty good for baskets. Wouldn't want to leave skillshots out along the riverbank over lunch, just in case they go for a swim!

Should have some photos to put up early next week. Just need to take them first!
