Re: The 25th Isle of Mull Classic, EuroTour #2, 15/16 April 2017
Evening! Sorry I don't understand the new membership arrangements. I have paid up £10 and £5 for BDGA membership for me and Ned respectively. Do I now also need to renew PDGA membership in order to compete at Mull? Thanks
Re: The 25th Isle of Mull Classic, EuroTour #2, 15/16 April 2017
Hi Jonny,
BDGA and PDGA membership are now completely separate.
As Mull is a B-tier PDGA tournament you also need PDGA membership to register. (Although I'm guessing if you enter the 'parallel' non-EuroTour event, then you won't need PDGA membership)

Hi Nige. Can you outline what the differences will be between the 'parallel' event and the EuroTour event? Just trying to work out the value of the greater fee in entering the latter. Thanks

Good point. Will the EuroTour divisions also be available in the BDGA event? Or is there no overlap?Jester wrote:Hi Nige. I can't seem to find that info anywhere, Mark. Where have you come by it please?
Also those look like the fees for the Eurotour event. I'd like to know the fee for the regular Mull event if someone can direct me please?

I guess the separate event info is mentioned below:
Should you belong to a division that is not part of the Euro Tour –FPM, MA2, FA2,MA3,FA3, MJ2, FJ1, FJ2, MJ3, FJ3, for example – your place will still be guaranteed in that division and you will compete with others in that division for the Mull Classic Trophies and prizes.
All players of all divisions will compete within the Euro Tour format and PDGA Rules of Competition, but only those in the 8 approved divisions will be eligible for Euro Tour points and awards.
If you are not included in the Euro Tour Registration process contact us by January 1st 2017 with the following details:
Lunch – Sat and Sun (yes or No)
Camping – How many nights
BDGA membership number
PDGA membership number
Full name
Nationality
Division: MPO, FPO, MPM, MPG, MPS, MA1, FA1, MJ1

Thanks for the help, Mark.
Nige - how much does it cost to play please in the 'normal' mull event, not the EuroTour? Can you direct us to a location that makes this clear? Thanks.

Re: The 25th Isle of Mull Classic, EuroTour #2, 15/16 April 2017
Jester, its right at the bottom of the invite, but not sure it is that clear.... it starts by saying "If you are not in any of these divisions (MPO, FPO, MPM, MPG, MPS, MA1, FA1, MJ1) "
but what if we are....
As I read it it will cost £35 + £7 per day for lunch, then £5!! if you want in on the Ace pot.
out of interest is this the same ace pot regardless of Euro/BDGA entry?
And do we still need to register through the PDGA Euro form or is there another for BDGA entry?
