I'll get in on the act, too:
Will you be my Hypote-muse? 922-rated sidearmer seeks sub-918-rated thrower of backhands and putts longer than 3m. Lefties need not apply

Phil,
I feel like I need to change my mind and get in on the doubles. Is that ok?

However, only 2-day players can play in the Top 16 comp, so Jonny would have to play in the NTT16Phil Wood wrote:Yes of course, more the merrier!jonny wrote:I can come but unfortunately only for the Saturday. Will that work?

Wow, what a course! Looking forward to playing the new version of old favourites like #4 Mega Bunny, plus the new #13 Wild Gong and #17 King of Beaminster. Great to see after going to Whitcombe for so many years there are still ways to play new holes there.
Did you know in this layout you've by chance resurrected one of the original holes? The hole you've got at #16, 'Minn's Hill', is called 'John's Gate'. I doubt many players playing today that remember it, perhaps Charlie and Del though.
John's Gate was design out in 2002 (in preparation for the 2003 Euros) when the original combination Old and New courses became the Ancient and Modern separate 18s. Looking forward to playing this again too and remembering what Whitcombe was like 12 years ago!
