18's been aced? Nice. I thought that was still the one that was getting away.

Si Luard aced Blackdown the Hill (#15) sometime between '99-'02 with a big hyzer, which lead to the introduction of the mando. (thanks, Si.)

Ones I'm aware of or have been playing with at the time:

Hole 2 Ali Findlay 2009 ? Spring Fling
old Hole 4 Scott Fitzgerald 2008 -2009 in practice round
old Hole 4 Rick Rick Murphy 2009 first throw of the day in doubles comp after a 6 hour drive.
old hole 4 Tapani Aulu 2010

Old Hole 6 Sinus Frank 2009 British Open

Old hole 8 Tapani Aulu skip tomahawk ace. 2010

Old hole 10 Richard Hatton 2010 on my stag do.

Old hole 11 seen the basket hit 3 times but no ace yet.

hole 14 Ozzie guy in 2008

hole 15 - Richard Hatton 2010 turned my back in disgust as I thought I had turned it over, turned back just as Danny Farndon told me it was going close and bang ace. Through the mando by the way... Hit metal and chains on this hole quite a lot as well.

Hole 18 - Jesse Denny off the baby tees (bless him) One day he'll get a proper grown up Ace.....

Looking forward to trying the short course with Louise. Should hopefully be good for casual players like her who find the full 18 a bit of a slog.

Thats the plan!

I have already been promised by Beth she will come back to play it a few times.

Hopefully could be a good way of getting a few more of the WAGs involved!
