UK Discshop question ...
I have been looking around at discs and that obviously included looking at a couple of the UK online disc shops run by a couple of our members ... ie Disc Zoo and Discology.
And i did some wondering ... which is always dangerous for me
Why is it that both of these online shops (and others) only list by type in name alphabetical answer?
Why can't you browse by manufacturer? weights? plastics?
Just wondered ... anyone else wondered this?

At Discology's shop you can browse by manufacturer.Once you enter the shop section, you will find a "Shop By Brand" box in the upper right corner in line with the pictures of the cards accepted. We don't have a browse by weight section, as it is a lot of work to set up, and we don't really have the kind of stock on hand to justify listing all separetly. One day though with your support we will.
We currently try to keep all discs in the 170-173 range, as that is most popular.

It's a doddle to sort things by manufacturer (which you can also do at Disc Zoo
- big chunky logo box at the bottom right of every page), and plastic, but weights are generally trickier for very anorakky reasons as they tend to be options associated with a product, rather than a category within which that product is located. Makes my poor little brain ache thinking about the best way of doing a listing by weight!
Most people are going to choose a disc primarily by the model, then see if there a disc in their preferred weight and plastic, rather than what discs are available at a specific weight, then choosing a model.
