MAY Update - 1

David Felberg - Skills Sessions.

David is a past PDGA World Champion and will be coming to Whitcombe to play in the British Open. He is going to run 2 Skills Sessions or Master Classes. The first will be:
Thursday 1st July 2pm-4pm
then
Friday 2nd July 10am-12am.

Classes will be limited to 15 players and will cost £20 per person per session or £30 for both sessions.

Places will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. Players do not need to be competing at The Open to take part.

May Update 2

Discs are ordered and on their way, clothing is being printed and embroidered and both will be available on Nige Wiliams www.DiscZoo.com site before the tournament.

Look out for hole descriptions and photos by the beginning of next week

Next WWW is weekend of June 11-13. Please come along and help make this an even better event. Most of the groundwork will be done this weekend including significant clearance of dead woodland, Tees and Stiles!

PAYMENT IS DUE BY MAY 24TH - THERE ARE ONLY 6 GB PLAYERS WHO ARE PAID UP.

WEBSITE UPDATE

Course walkthroughs available on-site now. Click 'The Courses' then click on the Green Lozenges for Ancient and Modern. Some small details to be sorted but hopefully it will help those who haven't played at Whitcombe before.

Fundraisers have landed!

All the Innova fundraisers are in, and will be up on disczoo.com in the next few days. They will also be available at Bristol so you can support the British Open with your hard-earned pennies this weekend.

Available in a range of colours and weights are:

Pro Katana
Champion Boss
Champion Sidewinder
Champion Roadrunner
Star Ontario Roc
Echo Star Boss

Prices yet to be finalised, but will post them up as soon as the numbers are in.

Discraft fundraisers are due in any day...

Curses! Normally I'm less than tempted by fundraiser plastic, and only buy the odd one to support the cause, but this time your disc selection is alarmingly matched to my bag... DX Aviar, DX Roc, KC Roc, Star Boss, all discs I like!

My credit is good, right?

Well, thought we'd go for some discs that people want to throw!

Numbers are in:
DX: £10
Pro: £12
Champion: £14
Star: £15

Discraft prices will be the same for equivalent plastics.

Ooh, and you get a free sticker with the Echo Star discs (technically, the sticker is already on the disc, but hey)
