European Championships 2010
Ok, I do know that Sue, Ivan and James will not be attending. That frees up 1 Masters, 1 Womens and 1 Junior Spot.
I need to verify the entry criteria to see who qualifies for the Junior spot, Sophie is considering if she can attend, which means there is a spot for an old person

Just checked in again on the ec10.fr site still nothing on accommodation but I'm guessing as it is at a holiday park most people will be keen for camping/chalets on site.
I assume everyone will be ferry/driving? My dad sent me a promo email today from ferrycheap.com for £40 rtn for car and 5 people. no restrictions! however it must be booked before 19th march. Can we get say 3 drivers to confirm from the team and book them for wednesday am, sun evening return? then fill those car spaces with players.
Can we have a team list posted here? i'm happy to sort out travel logistics if people wish.
I'm not at Qp this weekend as it's my 30th but maybe something to discuss?

Matt,
Happy to add myself to driving list but going to Belgiamn Open weekend before then holiday for a few days before going to the event so that might put some off. However , if not please get in touch and then we can make plans if the ferry deal is on.
From where to where BTW matt?

Travel to & Fro
Hello all, i'm trying to sort out my plans for EC2010 in August. As Eurotunnel have a short (5day) travel offer at mo.
I am planning to travel out VERY early on Weds (gives one day to practice/play both courses) and back lateish (2200?) on the Sunday night.
I have a small estate car and am happy to offer travel / lifts to two others, (possibly three). I will be camping and self catering - so I will be carrying a reasonable amount of kit - so two bods is preferred.
I am travelling from Romsey (say 0500) to Folkestone (0700?) via M3/M25 so will pickup anywhere 'reasonable' en route.
Tunnel cost is around £90 return (inc people) and car does 50mpg so fuel share is only going to be around £15 - 20 each. And the car is a company car - so no other costs!
BUT once there - the car is only going with me to where i'm playing! but i'm sure between all UK players lifts between courses can be covered.
Anyone interested? - I would like to know by the end of the week

Sorry for delay in Euro-decision.
BOF will NOT be attending Euros - school holidays, family etc. make it an impossibility.
Maybe next year..? (didn't I say that last year, and the year before, and the year before that, ad infinitum?)
I hope someone will be able to take my place/fill my shoes (size 10)

Sorry Conor, I'm a size 9 and therefore unable to fill your shoes. I have lost the battle to come for "family reasons" those said "family reasons" may/may not have been that the shoes were too smelly....
