Membership amendment vote 241116

Post by LostMeow » Thu Nov 24, 2016 1:22 pm

Hello again,

following feedback from players and discussion with the Board, we here present an amendment to the new membership system. Sorry for clogging your inboxes with another vote, but hopefully this will clear the air and we can get on with an exciting new tour next year!

Results are in:

35 voted, which meets our minimum online quorum of 25 voters.

32 (91%) voted in favour of Option 1
3 voted in favour pf Option 2 (no change)

Therefore, by an overwhelming majority, we have adopted the amendment. So, the full membership deal now is:

£10 per year (2017 membership will cover up to August 2018)
£5 for juniors
BDGA members will collect points towards qualification for the British Championships (and also the Club Trophy - tbc)

BDGA Tournaments will work as follows:

£10 per day sanctioning fee.
Membership not compulsory for BDGA tournament, but non-BDGA members to be charged £1 per day towards insurance costs.
