SEDGS is back! 2015

Post by Phil Wood » Mon Apr 20, 2015 10:36 am

This Sunday see's the 2015 South Eastern Tour kicking off and detaisl can be found below.

Once again we have a great series lined up and the TD are working hard to create challenging courses and more professional events. The 2014 tour saw player numbers grow by almost 30% on 2013, lets keep that growth going!

Following feedback from the last years series, we are challenging ourselves to ensure all events are PDGA rated and course maps are prepared and distributed ahead of the competition. We have also clarified the divisions and rating below.

We have formally introduced the junior division after seeing more young people out at the SEMDGS, we want to encourage them more so.

SEMDGS dates (all subject to change!)

April 26th - #1 - Basingstoke
June 7th - #2 - Lea Valley
June 28th - #3 Reading
July 12th - #4 TBC - Elmstead Woods?
Aug 16th - #5 Croydon
Sept 26th - #6 Brighton

Divisions (total of 6 up for grabs)

Open - 870+
Amateur - 800 - 869
Rookie - 799 or below
Womens
Junior Boys u18's
Junior Girls u18's

#1 AMAZINGSTOKE

Rob Hamilton and the Basingstoke team are welcoming everyone to Down Grange to play two rounds of 18 (based on the temporary 9 hole layout)

Players meet 9.45
Tee off 10.30

£4 entry
optional £1 acepot

All rounds will be PDGA rated.

more details can be found on facebook or shout up on here!

Wow, over 40 players for a one-dayer? Incredible! Sorry I couldn't be there.
