i must apologise to Pete Power and control Dawson.

when the numbers were transferred to the backing cards Peter received one less shot than he scored. which was then transferred to the finial card.

2nd place is rightfully Jesters.

Really sorry, but all has been rectified for the PDGA.
Gutted for you Pete. Get your rump steak down to Burnlaw and Croydon and show us your skills again!

Personally I thought the OB lake on 17 extended a little too far down the fairway. I can see that for the big arms it makes the hole an interesting risk/reward decision, but for int-am type players who can't carry the lake at all there's no decision, it just forces them to throw a putter, and makes an already difficult hole too punishing imo.

In practice what most of the int-am players did was just threw deliberately wide of it and then went up round the back. This could be prevented by mando poles but that just compounds the difficulty for shorter throwers.

I think a shorter OB lake would still offer the same risk-reward element for the long throwers without being so harsh on shorter throwers.

Del - the par for the final was 29 ;-)

Cheers, by my calculations my average comes out as 865, almost at the cut off point but not quite there yet, despite just throwing another 56 in practise

865 is way over the int/adv am cut off point Mark ... way over! ;)

Also, the finals don't count as rounds have to be over 13 holes to have a rating :)

It doesn't matter what you do in practice, its in tournament play when it counts ... just look at Tweedy ;-)

True, but I played both days, and another problem to mention as the results say James bates played the final when Blair Anderson played

Couple more things

Yes Dunc, your discs are by the lost and found.

Apparently some campers left rubbish bags with the Clinic next door. They let me know that they were not happy about this, so please don't put any rubbish bags on their property. I'm sure it seemed a sensible thing to do, but they don't get free refuse collection, so it does actually cost them money. They didn't want to dump them back on my course as crows and foxes soon tear the bags apart.

Thanks to Matt for bringing the Scorepointe - this belongs to BDGA, so if anyone needs it for a BDGA event, you know where it is. I still need to get the yellow and green QP Scoreport back from Whitcombe.

I may be wrong, and I should probably have kept my mouth shut as it pushes me even closer to last place, but I think Edd Green had a 66 on saturday afternoon, not the 86 that it says in the results.
