Will the BDGA Board consider an up or down vote to match funds on a course sign for Rosshall Disc Golf Course up to £100? I will submit a design for approval.

If the Bdga matches funds I will have leverage to approach Glasgow Life and Friends of Rosshall Park to first ensure they implement a plan to keep the course in a playable condition on a year round basis or I will recommend they donate the baskets to charity.

Rosshall Disc Golf Course is failing; the course in its current state should be removed from the Pdga disc golf course directory. Rosshall has no course sign, no scorecards and no reasonable access to discs, the course is generally in an unplayable condition.
The limited player base is not at fault, neither is the course designer/installer; the stewardship has failed for Rosshall Disc Golf Course which is why the clock is ticking on its demise. I have written numerous letters (cc Chris OB) to Glasgow life and Friends of Rosshall Park explaining the effects of a poorly maintained course on regular players let alone creating new players and they have not responded with the recommended actions. I have offered to host fundraisers in order to invest in the course and the community to no avail.
There is time to save the course and retain the player base until a second course can be built to coexist with Rosshall. There are currently other options for disc golf in Glasgow but given the state of Rosshall it is difficult to justify new Land for an additional disc golf course. The NGB offering to match funds on a new course sign may be the shot in the arm that focuses Friends of Rosshall Park to maintain the course properly. This would be a big win for everyone.

Thank You for your consideration.
Back to back, chicken shack.

That's a pity to hear about Rosshall. Thank you for trying your best to save the course, Seamus. Even if BDGA funds aren't available, I hope your tenacity is enough to at least earn a courteous response to your inquiries.
