Here's a link to last year's results and next year I will be sure to post up that you CAN bring Fastbacks!!!
Yes, everybody who played used Discraft 175g Ultra Stars.

Also as a teaser for the 2016 EO MTA Championships here Catch The Spirit's own Chris O'Brien doing a demonstration.
We'd all better get practicing and I'll try and put up a reminder a month or so before.

Thanks again to every one and everyone who came out to The Essex Open.

Where can we find Powerstats nowadays? Need to work out if I can make it to Burnlaw or not and an update on points would be good after Essex. Thanks

I'll update powerstats when the results are posted! I don't do powerstats for MTA or Kan Jam...

Hey Coop, Stoddy. Thanks for a fun time at the Essex Open. I really enjoyed the event and look forward to playing again next year. You guys asked for feedback, so here's my thoughts:

- I know you guys have some fun times ahead trying to negotiate with the Uni on course changes, but I think getting yourselves into a position to be able to be allowed to do course work would be the single greatest benefit to the future of the tournament and disc golf at Essex

- Results publishing is another improvement I'd be grateful for. I really like it when events upload the round 1&2 scores on Saturday night so players can see provisional round ratings. Then if the Sunday rounds are uploaded asap after play on Sunday it can make for informed discussions on the journey home!

- The Saturday night field events were fun as always, and the hotdogs were a great new addition! More of that please. Next year perhaps try using the continuation rule in the Kan Jam and make each match best of 3 games? Our first round match was over in a flash and it would have been nice to have had the chance to get into it a bit more before being knocked out. :)
