If I remember rightly I once pretty much rolled all the way to the basket of King of beaminster whilst trying to play to a hole up the slope the other way (can't remember the holes name but it played uphill about 80 meters to a basket right on the edge of the escarpment, I hit the edge about 2 meters from the basket on my drive, rolled a very long way and then took another 3 shots back uphill to get back for a putt  ). Just a quick Caddy note to anyone playing, turn round, throw into the hill at your feet and let the hole do the work for you :D

God I want to play that course!!

Make sure you sign up and complete the invite -page 1 I think.

With a 917 rating you come in at 13, with a potential 1st round match up against one James Luton

Hello. Just to say that I will be at Whitcombe next weekend (I'll be attempting to ping a few pheasants at Coombe Down) and look forward to dining with you on Saturday. I'm very touched that Nationals will also be a fundraiser for FODAD - some of you may be amused to see this http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=koVGPHbsdIE which raised 1500 quid in September. (and, no, I'm not volunteering again!).

Looking forward to it already

OK, I'm in :D
The Willetts have stepped in to run QP, so I can play.
Seems like the registration form requires a Google log in, which is annoying. I'll sort that out tonight.
I can bring discs from the QP shop if anyone has requests for the weekend. I'll also be reordering Innova/Discmania in the next few days.

Of course, sorry if comms has been a little poor. Work is crazy at the moment.

9.00am players meet and aim for 9.45 tee off. Same both sat and Sunday.

Second rounds to start 60mins after last groupies in.

Saturday curry is 7.30pm, awards/agm to take place at 8.30, both at the summer house.

Cheers

Phil

Ah, I misunderstood, I thought Chris R was directly replacing Barney. So, that changes a coupple of things around, no longer the father/son match betwen Charlie and James, but instead a former final is replayed in the first round between Charlie and Del!
