Scary, are you making the trip??

if i catch a train at peterborough i might be able to do this… maybe.

Hi Seamus

Very great to not only meet you at the weekend but to also play the first round with you too!

Well I finally bit the bullet and have now registered for Dunbar however (as usual) I have a couple of questions...

1) I've chosen to move on up to AdAm and have registered as such however my rating will not technically be at the 870 requirement but I'm guessing that's not an issue, right?

2) On the form I've said no to the Saturday night frivolities however that was simply based on the fact that the cost includes the buffet option which I may not be able to eat due to being dairy intolerant. If possible can you check with the guys who will be doing it and see if they can accomodate such akwardness? If so, I'm more than happy to send you a second payment for the additional £8.

Thanks

I can answer half that for you Nick, its never an issue playing up, you could play open if you wanted. It is an issue when moving down the food chain. So no problem you playing Ad-Am, infact well done for stepping up!

Ah cool, cheers Phil. I didn't think it would be an issue but it was only because the form literally states <869=IntAm. That was all.

Nice to meet you as well Nick, Congrats on the big W., Yes The West Barns Inn will accommodate all dietary concerns during the banquet.

Kate, Pub manager of the WBI, also just made me aware of a new item of entertainment that will be available during our side Pool/Darts competition in the Pub that evening.........

Wait for it.......

Free Karaoke!!!!!
We should make a rule that if you lose your match (pool/darts) you have to sing a song.

Seamus just a heads up, the payment I sent you is for both BBW and the hermatige... Just to be awkward :D

Hmm for every ones hearing health... you all best pray I win the pool comp!! Or suffer my very very very poor 'singing' voice!

Also, I signed up for the birdie bash today, it does not like UK phone number formats and does not let you past without putting something in... I put a fake US tel num in to get on with it... But I think if ppl just drop the 0 the remainder should match up to US dialing codes although I didnt think of that till after the fact.

See you Sat!

On this topic, I was checking out the competition, and it looks like Rodney Weeks (#50731) should have signed up for Adv not Int Am?

Hello folks
A fellow golfer needs a place to stay in Dunbar, does anyone have room?

11 days til tee time!! The vote is not finished but I'd say sharpen those pool cues.

I've not been able to get in touch with anyone at Belhaven about accommodation, busy at work so I've not been able to call during their office hours (9-2:30), I've left an enquiry via the website, left a voicemail and emailed them so hopefully someone will get in touch tomorrow. Shout up if you're already sorted as i'm assuming the list earlier in this thread is correct so i'll book for as many as I can, i'm assuming 7 at this point.

Gary - I heard form Si Luard that he might be coming. Our van is full up already, have you got room at the inn for him if he does make it please?
