Ok fixed. Rather than resubmit, let me know here if either yourself or Nick want to change your lunch options...

Hi Bruce
I actually realised about the lunch after I hit submit, sorry. Please can I change my lunch order to "No Lunch". I will be making my payment later today when I get home so you should have this soon too.

Probably missing something obvious.... but what are the payment details? I cant find them anywhere - possibly they came up when I registered, but if so I didn't make note of them!

Hey,

Looking forward to my first visit to QP for the chilly chuck.... Just wondering if there are any course maps online some where I am missing :D

I found one from the 2012 open and the virtual map is great, but I do like a good ole birdseye view map.... and not sure if that 2012 map is relevant to this event?

Cheers,
Graham.

We're just putting the finishing touches to the map, there are a few tweaks from last year wrt OB lines and mandos.

This one from last year's chilly chuck is closer to what we'll be playing than the Open map: http://bdga.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=19153#p19153

this years map will be up soon! few little changes, like hole K18 is new tee and new basket position, and a few OB lines have moved or changed.

Here's the chilly chuck map and hole descriptions, if they change I will just update the link so this is the most recent version.

Where can I find payment details for QP tournament, please?

I noticed them at the end of the registration process but didn't pay at the time (in a hurry!). Are they posted anywhere else? (Can't afford to register twice just to see the payment detsails again!)

Thanks in advance.

A nice little boost to numbers over the last few days sees us up to 42 players, keep 'em coming!

I've bunged the payment details into the invite (link in first post) for those who didn't note it down at registration time :)

We are working hard to get the course in as good shape as possible, although the recent flooding is really not helping!I have 100 trees arriving this week to fill in the gaps in the hedge between Snake Bites #13 and Roc or Roll #14 which together with recycling some fencing materials should stop discs rolling or sliding through the hedge. The hedge has been cut back hard, and we may even be able to revert back to a normal single OB line, but we will see how it shapes up. If we can get a weekend when the ground dries out enough to use the mower and trailer we will put down another 2.5 tonnes of gravel to make paths over the muddiest sections, we already have 4.5 tonnes in place making over 60m of paths. Ground conditions have made it impossible to move aggregates to install concrete tees so we will just have to scrub the existing ones. I have 2 quality boot scraping stations on order - the sort you get at sports grounds with hand rail and multiple brushes, so that will help us to avoid treading more mud onto the tees. For the future I have opened up the canopy to let in more light which will enable more grass and ground cover to establish on the woodland floor, and that should bind the soil thus reducing erosion and making it less muddy. We planted over 1000 additional bulbs last year, and though half of them were bluebells which will not bloom until later in Spring, there should be some aconites and crocuses to add some colour to the course.
The shop will be very well stocked - I got some more Discraft stock a couple of weeks ago, and a large Innova order was picked today and will probably arrive early next week. I placed the order on Monday which was the first day of availability of the new G-Star plastic which is a flexible Star plastic - I guess somewhat similar to Discraft's FLX plastic.

Sounds like you're doing a fantastic job Del and in these conditions it can't be easy. Can't wait for the tourney to start :)
