Sky, I hope we have that problem, as of now we're struggling for 16. How is your match play game?

Its just super duper awesome, And i've been working on my insults to throw people off their game! haha.

to be honest, I'd really enjoy playing the match play tourny (never played one before) but I reccon I might be cannon fodder for Mats first round (or any one rated high enough to properly qualify for the 16 places) but I'd still have fun! And make em work hard for every hole!

Looks like we have 16 in the Nationals!!
I've sent out emails to confirm divisions so this may change but we should have around 19 players +/-. If you have sent an Rsvp but not registered please let me know if you will be attending the Awards banquet Saturday evening. I need to get a tally to the owner of the Royal Mackintosh.
Fyi there was a new course record of 51 established at league last Sunday!
Cheers

Last call if you'd like to jump in,
the course is looking great and the brackets are set up

"If you're scared, its OK......just say you're scared"

So far we have a full 16 for Nationals and 4 for Not the Nationals, full registration in the first post.

For anyone who is participating in the event this weekend and playing on Friday please sign in at The Fox Den/Pro Shop as a "tournament player", no charge, enjoy the course.

If you plan on driving to the course please use the following directions
http://www.foxlake.co.uk/location/

Fair warning, do not use the zip code associated with FoxLake for your Sat Nav. You will find yourself at the Farmers house about 3 miles from the course.

That's great news, Seamus. Can you list them in seed order please so we can see what the first round match ups are?

Thanks

Its true Scuttler, once the Mealticket joined the fray I had to take a close look at the brackets and you and Graham have swapped seeds. Player seeding gets a little fuzzy at the 15th&16th seed, its based on participation in a BDGA event and a little subjective decision making. There are two people who could argue that 16th spot but time is short so I went with whats best for the Nationals.

1.Ryan vs 16.Clegg
8.Pickett vs 9.Scanlon

4.Wilson vs 13.Underwood
5.Blair vs 12.Holden

2.Robins vs 15.Robbie
7.Bromage vs 10.Stevens

3.Cutler vs 14.Cox
6.Charity vs 11.Fleetham

Not the Nationals:
Marc Potts
Stephen Conroy
Joel Pomfret
Chris Park
Pie Brown
Jordon Taylor* (Sunday Only)

Any questions, concerns, comments, errors, please let me know right away. The weather looks particularly Scottish so be prepared, there is on hole that may be a little soft and muddy, not too bad though.

This is a little random but are there any vegetarians for lunch?

We're really looking forward to launching this course with Nationals and NtN!!!

No problem, as long as it was deliberate and not a typo.

We'll probably get to sort out bragging rights in the 15 vs 16 game on Sunday afternoon anyway.

In our 20 week history as a disc golf course there has yet to be a recorded ace, both red and blue courses included. If there are no aces at Friday doubles the ace pot will be £62 +/- for Nationals.
Good Luck everyone

I suspect there may be an element of truth in that prediction Scutler, however in the interest of posative thinking, and massive amounts of delusions of grandure.

NEVER! I'm heading for the final! Just u watch, the underdog always wins!!

Random draw best disc doubles 4pm, £5 per player, 80% payout, (because of £1 to the ace pot per player) if 8 or more players turn up we'll pay the first two teams otherwise winner takes all.
Doubles is a ton of fun, hope to see you here.

Getting that edgy nearly-tournament-time feeling.

Really looking forward to the weekend, although I hope the weather forecast for Saturday is wrong.

Seamus if you are struggling with the ob paint I have a couple of 200m drums of rope and could squeeze one or both in the car if needed.
