Good Luck to everyone at Croydon this weekend - I would love to be there but have a prior commitment to The Tim Selinske US Masters in Burlington, North Carolina......but will be thinking of you all! Hope the weather holds - currently hot and steamy in NC.

Will be checking for half way results after my Saturday round - have fun all!

Scout Hut

I have emailed all those staying at the scout hut over the weekend. Please note that it is not available (due to scout use!) until 9pm on Friday. Please see Hippy Dan (Hawkins) if you have any questions about it over the weekend.

Some good questions from Jonnie Burden which I will summarise here:

Q: Is the OB area on hole 1 in play off the drive of hole 17?
A: I have never seen anyone hit that OB area off the drive of 17 but yes, it would be in play with standard OB rules.

Q: Can discs be retrieved from the OB area parallel to hole 14?
A: Strictly no. The landowner frequently has his fence damaged - not by us but he doesn't know that. Complaints from him about disc golfers on his land could directly result in the council ripping out the course immediately. Please do not cross over that fence under any circumstances. If your disc lands there, hopefully we will get it back eventually, as he does collect them up and give them to Rich Wood every once in a while.

Q: 2 metre rule?
A: NO!

Not off 17, but someone managed it off the tee of 18 the other week.

Hi, I understand registration has closed for this event but i wondered if there would be space for me to play. I have a friend flying over from the Netherlands, Peter 'Dynamite' Dawson who is playing the event and I didn't realise I would have to register online. Foolishly thinking I could turn up early Saturday. Is there anything you can do to squeeze me in.

Thanks

Sean

Hi Sean.

You're in. Please bring £25 or £26 if you want in on the ace pot.

To any other potential late registrants reading this, there are now three groups of 3 you could join...

Football Boots & Tee Pads

Just a quick reminder that we do not want players using football boots on the new tee pads - they risk either injury to the player or damage to the mats.

Otherwise, looking forward to seeing you all there!

Well done all, wish I'd have been there!

Charlie would have made third in Ad Am, maybe it's time he moved up :)

I make that tied 1st in Int Am (?), however, the juniors played a modified course so the scores aren't directly comparable. Mind you, it probably is about time he moved up!
