You could always stand for the soon-to-be-vacant National Director job, and prove you've got some walk to go with all that hot air... :P

Your initial point, however, Fernando, was a good one - nothign did ever come of this, it seems...

I do believe this can be classed as avoiding the issue.

I don't know why this is even a problem. It seems the standard set up by the BDGA for giving discounts to members wasn't followed. So why is it more complicated then to say the BDGA would like to collect this money and possibly offer it to a club or clubs to help with upkeep of courses, or for new courses going in. It seems like we just throw verbal jabs back and forth rather then actually accomplishing anything.
Also I don't think any comments are made to say the current board isn't doing what it should. Mostly because we can't get a straight answer as to what action has or hasn't taken place.

As appealing as that sounds. I will be leaving early next year, which is one of the main reasons I stood down from the Sec. Position at the last AGM.

I am in discussion with the Mull TDs about this.

When the matter has been resolved I will inform you.

This matter has been resolved, the member discount has been reclaimed from Gremlin.
Discussions are ongoing as to how to proceed with the 07 Mull event.

Apologies for the length of time this has taken, this was mostly because of the difficulty of swift communication with someone who spends most of his time in a commune in Zambia!
