BDGA Tour #2 - Croydon Cyclone 2012 - Mar 3/4th

Post by richard » Tue Jan 10, 2012 8:11 pm

Good-day Ladies and Gentlemen

The BDGA Tour will be very soon upon us and for a change, thanks to the Olympics, The Croydon Cyclone has had to change dates.

This years event will be the 3rd and 4th of March. This is just after the 5th Anniversary of the baskets going in and will include the new holes that were played last year with just one amendment and a few tweaks to the ob lines!

I hope that you will all be able to get down to Sunny Croydon and help make the event as good as it has been in the past.

Please sign up http://tinyurl.com/73hotaa as quickly as you can to qualify for the Early Booking Discount.

I hope to see you all March.

Cheers

After a great time at Frostbreaker new-to-touring Si Edwards is signing up for Croydon too. Hope to see many more new players joining us again this year for what will be a great event.

Hi Rich

Just Registered, then noticed the extension on the early booking discount. I've transferred £22, hopefully it will get to you in time, let me know if it's too late and I'll transfer the extra fiver.
Cheers

Mark

Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on the design of the Course Map last year. As I've had to update it anyway to show the tweaked location of tees and baskets (and the location of one entirely new hole!) I've made it a bit more usable. The table on top of the diagram now combines the hole by hole info (OBs, spotters, mandos etc) with the hole data (par, length, rise/drop) so it's all in one place.

As soon as I get the OK from TD Phil the map is broadly correct I'll get a draft version published up here so folk can ask questions about the course.

Something to make Rich Hatton happy, no doughnut on #4 this year. You better be going for it every time now, fella!

Do you mean #5...???

Which new hole?
Have you guys decided to move the 'old' #8 Tee 10m to the left???

Or which hole has been ditched...???

Thanks in advance! :D

Yeah, sorry, I do mean hole 5, not 4, that is now donught-free.

It’s been requested by the park that #6 Amen Alley was moved, it’s tee is now near where it’s basket was last year with the basket moving near the tee of #7. Yep. The tee of #8 has moved left too.
