Think i'm being a bit optimistic i'm afraid! The wife looked at me with a resigned look of incredulity mixed with disgust when i suggested the idea so think it might be a bit of a non starter :)

bring earplugs, not (just) because of my snoring, but the site is fairly close to the A12 and it can be a touch noisy....

Should be down about 1-2ish Dave.

I've just booked into the Colchester holiday park too. They asked me if the van was respectable looking! :/

Hope they don't turn me away.

haha :)

I think the question was prompted after she asked what colour it was and I lauhged and said "errrr, well it's mostly white". She prolly pictured a graffiti style thing, till I reasured her it was just an old R reg Transit.

If she turns me away, I'll nip to the local B&Q and spray the side with "THIS CAMPSITE SUCKS" and park it outside the main entrance :D

PM'ed hopefully with helpful info.

Thanks to Dave, Paul, Chris, Soph, Paul, Steve and everyone else who helped out to make a really good tournament. Played my best golf in a long time, lovely weather and a great laugh in every group.
Also i'd just like to point out that i got within 2 shots of Del in the final so it was CLOSE. Next time ehh ;)
