Vic and I took 4 newbies out on Saturday. They're hooked, and have excellent potential to shake things up in the Int Ams - they considering coming to the Snowbow, at least for the Saturday. Vic floated in a 30m uphill meteor over the trees on the new hole 9 called 'the magic tree' for a sweet deuce  the crowd went wild! he shot a tidy 60. So he's looking on form for the Advanced Am, if only he wasn't doing his Kayaking 5 star the Snowbow weekend :-( so who's gonna me the movers and shakers in the Adv Am on the burnlaw hills this time? And the Open players... it's fair to say you gotta card in the forties everytime to give Del something to think about. So come on Luton, GO GET HIM!!! :P

Hopefully! That new hole in The Plantation needed stuff removing to create a playable fairway.

Additional Information
Burnlaw is part of a 45 acre organic stock farm overlooking the West Allen Valley in the North Pennines. It is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in what has been described as England's last wilderness. Burnlaw began its life as an Elizabethan fortified farm house. It was then farmed by a Quaker family for 300 years and used as a place for Quaker Sunday meetings. It continues as a place of peace and tranquility today.
Visitors are welcome to explore the farm and the various walks in the surrounding valleys. Burnlaw is within easy reach of the Lake District and Hadrian’s Wall, an ancient barrier built in AD 112 to mark the edge of the Roman Empire and separate it from the land of the Picts. Newcastle, Durham and the unspoilt Northumbrian coast are about an hours drive away.

Ha, you know Emma better than that.

Chris Gill, who I'm pretty sure you met at Mull last year, is in for Quarry Park and Burnlaw.
