Good morning all

Morning all,

I'm new here, just started playing Disc Golf about a month ago, getting into the habit of hunting for discs in heavy rough.

Haven't lost any yet :)

Anyway just wanted to say Hi

Thanks
Adz

Also (and totally unrelated to the 3 x post rule :P)

Can someone break down the different classes for me?

I'm aware from reading bits and pieces like the results board for the current 2015 tour that there are a few different classes (Pro, Am etc?)

I just wanted to be clear before accidently entering myself for the European tour. Hehe

Thanks
Adz

Hi Adz

The BDGA tour divisions are detailed here: http://bdga.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php? ... =80#p22419 and in later posts on that thread.

As a beginner you would likely start out in the Recreational division, looking to move up to the Intermediate Amateur division fairly rapidly. Our divisions are based on PDGA ratings, which you get if you join the BDGA as a full member. You can find out more about them here: http://www.pdga.com/faq

Cheers

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

That is a fantastic help, thank you! :)

I will do some reading over my lunch.

I was aware that I would go into recreational but wasn't sure how things developed from there.

Appreciate the help :)
