Essex DGC would like to invite you to the Winter Happy Huck tournament

Date
3rd December 2006

Venue
The University of Essex

Format
Singles stroke play
3 x short 9
1 x full 18

Cost
This event is a "Bring a Prize" tournament, the prize has to be of a reasonable standard and something you know a fellow disc golfer would appreciate.

Timing
0930 - 1000 = Registration
1000 = Players meeting
1030 = 3 straight rounds on the short course start
1200 - 1330 = Lunch at the SU bar
1330 = Players meeting
1345 = 1 round on full 18
1600 = Prize giving and everybody wins :D

Additional Info
There will be some side action options, please note these are optional:
£2 Ace Pot, the winner is the player with the only ace or the most aces, if 2 players end up with the same amount of aces, we shall play a CTP for the pot, one player will win the pot.
£2 Metal Pot, the winner is the player with the most basket metal hits from their drives, for this event a metal hit is anywhere on the basket, pole or chains, same rule applies for determining the winner as the Ace Pot.

The Players meeting will take place at the Visitors Car Park for both meetings, if you wish to attend please contact me at timherring@hotmail.com or leave a message here. I look forward to seeing you in December.

Hmmm, I missed the 'I' from the start of my comment, and turned it into an order rather than an informational statement!

Should be a blast, with lots of ace and metal opportunities and you get to play the new hole on the British Open course :wink:

After a great time in Croydon last weekend, I'm really looking forward to Essex!

Just need a prize to bring, I'm sure can find something yellow and Lipton Ice themed... :wink:

Cheapskate :roll:

As i keep telling everyone, the prize you need to bring is something that if you didn't have it in the first place, you'd be happy to go home with, as a rough guide, a new disc or the value of is around the right mark, no used and abused discs, otherwise you'll be down to the shop to purchase some nice beverages as your prize... :wink:

Thanks for the reminder though, been a bit distracted by the British Open of late.
