North Carolina disc golfer in London

Hey BDGA! I'm here doing a study abroad in London for a month and need to get my disc golf fix. I was wondering where the best places are to play and if anyone would be willing to play some rounds with an American. The general consensus so far in London is that disc golf doesn't exist, according to everyone I've asked. Are there any tournaments coming up and/or do you guys have any summer doubles or monthlys at any courses nearby? I can't really get too far since I'm on a tight budget but anywhere around London or close by would be best. If there's something going on though a little further out I can probably wing it. I'm from Raleigh, NC so we have about 15 courses within 30 minutes drive, don't think it's quite like that here but I'd love to talk UK disc golf and try and spread the good word of dg any way possible. Let me know what you guys think.

See you out on the field,

Spencer Thompson

You're in luck. See

I'm sure Jester or Rich Wood will be along shortly to give you some more detail.

Thanks for that, Scuttler.

Hey Spencer. Great to have another visitor to Lloyd Park, we've had quite a few other American players already play at Croydon when in London. I've reposted your message on the Croydon Forum as that gets a lot more traffic than this location for London disc golf. Please join the Croydon Forum and reply to that post so other folk can contact you directly with regards to meeting up to play.

There will be people meeting at the course at 9am tomorrow and Sunday if you are around.
