Post by Phil Wood » Tue Mar 18, 2014 2:23 pm

At lloyd park on the 5th from 8pm. 2 rounds of the short 9 and (final 3 holes for the leaders) for some glow disc golf.

It will be £5 entry to raiase funds for the open. all *regular golfers* will play the course as a par 3, all newbies will be playing it as a par 4. All scores recorded to par. please bring friends and first times! all welcome. regular golfer = you own a disc or two and have played a few rounds.

There will be lots of prizes and plenty of whisky time!

Please bring a torch for your own safety and an appropriate drink to keep you warm.

If you want to play and would be travelling from a bit further afield, we will run some day time doubles and maybe even a Dan Ryan masterclass to have some daylight fun too.

Do let me know if you can make it!

Thanks to all that made it out for this, expecially the Essex crew and RussW for travelling down.

Was a great night of golf, we only managed 9 holes as play was quiet slow in groups of 10+ and lots of whisky time and sweetie breaks. We saw 2 aces, Jerry on hole 7 and Stoddy on hole 1, Stoddys was also in the final infront of everyone... always the showman.

The overall winner was Ian Hogg, a newbie playing all holes as a par 4, he managed to complete 12 holes in -9. Also in the final was Paul Stoddart, Ross Poole, Rich Wood and Ricky.

We ended up raising a further £120 toward the British Open.
