just to let you know we have changed a couple of holes in the afternoon, hole #1 is shortend by about 10m and you tee off through a mando 3-4m wide and its ob all down the left
And hole #5 was "the river" but we changed it in favour of the very very nice "Avenue" :P , a 70 to 80m straight line down to the pin along a tree lined avenue...its super sweet you are gonna wanna unload your bag at it :D but beware of the bank on the left running the length of the hole rolling down to OB flatness... Good luck
so come and play one of the countries best new holes, and be the first to Ace it,

And the big news is this the winners get to name hole....yep of each div'ision
so come on sign up today, you know you wanna and its only three quid :D

Mark, great that you can attend! I would recommend that you you play open for the SE Masters events. Whilst the usual BDGA divisions are in place we are using this to encourage new players to enjoy the competition. So the line im adopting is that if you havent played at a tourney before you should be int am, if your a regular and play int am usually then test yourself and play ad am. And if your usually an ad am, play open with the big boys! i know Jester Dan R and myself cant be there so the open division is wide open!

if you really want to play ad am then thats fine, but im sure your up for the challenge!

there was a makeshift one made of envelopes.

Great day today, great course would loved to have seen the other holes too.

Plenty of good golf and good holes, some of the OB could have been relieved but it worked well, very tough.

Liked how you were able to change the course for morning and afternoon and it made for a more challenging second round.

Good job Robb, hope the rest of the series lives up to this high standard :D

Sounds like it was a great weekend and a massive thanks to Robb for running the first SEMDG event.

would love to hear some others thoughts on the course, the running, great shots, missed putts and anything else that was memorable! Having a pub on the course was probably the highlight for some!

Is it worth mentioning the new hole names, that the winners of each division were able to choose ...?

Well, I can't exactly remember the names of the holes that the Int Am and Adv Am winners chose, but ... for some inexplicable reason, nothing whatsoever to do with Sam Stevens standing nearby, Dominik chose the new name of hole 2 to be "Quarry Park Scum"... so there it is, in perpetuity...
