Cotgrave Festival 2013 is happening on 15th June, and I'll be running a disc golf event as part of it. This is a great opportunity to introduce people to the game and will potentially help my bid to get a permanent course installed at Cotgrave Country Park.
Current plan is to do a little demo in the main area of the festival and set up a short course in an adjacent playing field for people to come have a go. If anyone can lend me traveller baskets and/or discs for this it'd be much appreciated!

If you've got any ideas or would like to come and help out, please let me know!

There will be a beer tent with cask ales! What more incentive do you need?

Sweet! Disc golf will be running 10am to 5pm ish. I'll be there from about 8am to get things set up, Matt, Gaz, my mum and probably Paul H and Mike G will be helping out too and Jon T will probably come along late on with a group of divers, so it's all looking rather splendid. Between Matt, Gaz and I we should have a decent supply of travellers but won't do any harm to bring one just in case, and any putters you can bring would be greatly appreciated!

Also, if anyone fancies a trip down to the country park after 5, Gaz and I would be delighted to show you the real course :)
