Croydon Cup One Dayer

Sunday 20th February 2011
Lloyd Park Disc Golf Course
PDGA C Tier Event

PLEASE NOTE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE PDGA TO PLAY. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL, AND ALL ARE WELCOME!

Tournament Director – Tom Lowes

Format
• 2x18 holes over one day
• No finals
1st round mixed divisions
2nd round split by divisions and scores

Tournament Fee

Cost shown for the complete event - fees can be paid in advance although they will also be accepted on the day as long as they are paid by 9.45 at the latest –

• Adults £9.00
• Full time Students + Children 16 + under on 1st January 2011 £7.00
• BDGA Touring Members £7.00

Schedule (times subject to change during the event - listen for announcements / attend to notices!)

Sunday 20th February

0900 Registration opens
0945 Registration closes - entrance fees have to be paid by this time
0945 Players Meeting
1015 (approx) First Round
1400 (approx) Second Round
1700 (approx) Prize giving

If you would like to play in this event it is very important to pre-register as soon as possible to help us with the organisation. Please provide the following details via email to TD Tom Lowes (please use the PM facility of this site - LostMeow).

• PDGA membership number (does not apply to non-members)
• Full name
• Nationality
• Division (Open/Am). Note: Ams will be divided into Advanced and Intermediate, dependant on PDGA rating, and, if none, at the TD's discretion. If there are not enough Am players to justify 2 divisions (5+ players in each) then all will play in an Adv Am division.
• Classification (Junior Junior, Junior, Girl, Women, Master, Grand Master) for data purposes only, these are not divisions

Prizes shall be awarded to Divisional winners. Other prizes maybe awarded depending on attendance TBC.

There will be NO cash prizes.

Spot prizes will be awarded dependent on uptake.

Food and facilities
Lunch will NOT be provided; please bring your own.

A note about this PDGA C Tier event
Although round scores will be reported to the PDGA Office to calculate player ratings for PDGA Members, it must be noted that there is no cash payout in any Open division.

Yeah, c'mon, let's have some non-Croydon players throughing their hats in the ring. Two PDGA rated 18s at Lloyd Park well worth coming for.

Where are the Essex guys and QP-ers? I would have thought the latter, fresh from their Hyzer Cup victory, would be champing at the bit to come to Croydon and contest a stroke-play event in CDGC's own back yard!

Many many thanks to all those that came and helped make my first tournament a success.

Thanks to a generous donation from CDGC I was able to awards lots of prizes, so thanks to the committee for their decision!
