Skins rules?

Post by TheGroover » Sun Nov 19, 2006 5:50 pm

hi
anyone know the rules for playing for Skins?

Y'know - each hole's worth £1, holes can be halved, aces do x, OBs do y...

I think generally the rules are whatever you and the person you are playing decide. Normally though you jut play straight up. Best score on a hole wins. If you get the same score on a hole, then the skin pushes to the next hole (next hole would now be worth two skins) and it continues like that till someone wins a hole. Makes things fun when you keep pushing, and a hole turns out to be worth 4 or 5 skins. This can be played with as many people as you like. It makes it a lot harder to win a hole when more people are playing.

It is best to hammer out the rules before hand to eliminate any controversy during the round. Usually we would just play normal PDGA rules to make things more competitive. 2 meter rule always in play. :)
Frolf it up!!!!

That's what I thought - win a hole, take the prize.

I'm sure I read an article that someone had come up with some more elaborate rules, but I guess that's down to the particular group. Keeping it simple is probably better, I guess...
