I some how managed to miss the premier inn! Appears to be some subway transport from the main central area to the course any way if I leave it too late to book the PI. Or is that green subway like symbol for a tram!? :P And if trains from gatwick straight to EC... much cheaper and quicker than the t...

Re: BDGA #3- The Battle at Bluebell Woods

There is camping on the course as well, if memory serves that's £5pn (if your tenting it) there are toilets and a shower but that's it. Might find most ppl will use the actual camp site seamus mentioned to share the 7 person room option tho. BTW, if ppl are looking to do that, let me know if there's...

Re: Wind

Should also say the hyzer angle isn't necessary, but if you want a line drive with fade at the end that's the best way I've found to get it, if you have room use the wind to your favour and just adjust your aim.

Re: Wind

I've found these little tips useful. Headwind - makes disc under stable and rise - solution - throw over stable disc with hyzer angle low - like a hyzer flip Tailwind - makes disc more over stable and get beat down - hyzer flip an under stable disc with a bit more height. Left to right - makes anhyz...

Looking at the last one - which was on a thursday with a 34 player turnout - later in the week is looking like it might be better. Does any one remember what time it kicked off?

Re: BDGA Tour 2014

I intend on being at the mull open myself. So will be dependant on being able to get transport back to the glasgow area being a bank hol and all. The good thing about rosshall being quite a short course is that playing 3 rounds of 9 you can start fairly late Noon-1pm and still have things wraped up ...

Re: BDGA Tour 2014

Hey folks.

Seeing as people will be in the area for mull i'm going to organise a one day tournament at rosshall on the bank holiday Monday - 21st April.

Need to speak to a few folks to make it official first - but it will be on and I'll provide more details in a separate post.

Thanks,
Graham.

Re: Nationals 2013 @ReBoot Disc Golf Course - 19/20 Oct

Its true Scuttler, once the Mealticket joined the fray I had to take a close look at the brackets and you and Graham have swapped seeds. Player seeding gets a little fuzzy at the 15th&16th seed, its based on participation in a BDGA event and a little subjective decision making. There are two people...

Its just super duper awesome, And i've been working on my insults to throw people off their game! haha. to be honest, I'd really enjoy playing the match play tourny (never played one before) but I reccon I might be cannon fodder for Mats first round (or any one rated high enough to properly qualify ...
