Re: Redditch Birdie Bash - 12th April 2014

Come on people... after a brief glitch yesterday everything is hunky dory again, so get signed up if you're coming - you don't have to pay straight away - you can start registration then come back to it. Only 4 paid up and another 6 started registration, so there are 26 spaces left.

Re: Club affiliation and insurance

Is the option to pay the BDGA per player playing if we held an event to cover just that day still available like we did for our winter doubles a few years ago? Yes. although note I have to provide the insurer with an events list, so I do need to know about it! I usually pick stuff up on here, but w...

Re: Vibram birdie bash

The schools down here (in Coventry at least) break up on the 11th, so I'm still tempted by the 12th or 13th - allowing the seasoned traveller to do both if they want! I had seen the discounted set of discs for td's, but it seems you can't see what the discounted price is till your event's registered...

Re: Vibram birdie bash

Fab. I am investigating who to contact at Redditch to organise this - I'll probably head over there tomorrow and see what's what, and Gary is digging out the council contact details he has (If anyone else has any contact info let me know) The 13th April sounds like a good date for us as well, start ...

Re: Vibram birdie bash

On consulatation with Robb, Redditch looks like a good location for this - proper baskets and the courses first competition?
Does anyone know of a contact at the council or arrow valley to sort something official out?

Fair enough Mark, and everyone who's interested probably couldn't all make one date, but knowing there will be some interest is a start!

Re: Vibram birdie bash

I'm a yay! Come on people, a fun day where everyone is levelled out to some extent - all using just 2 new discs (you get to choose a putter and mid/driver when you register) and a novel scoring system (5pts for a ace/eagle, 2pts for a birdie, +1 pt for hitting the basket) plus a prize per group in t...

Re: BDGA #1 - Bristol Open 2014 - 25/26 Jan

Is it helpful to say I'm definitely not coming?
Nothing personal, I really like playing Bristol, and had got a new tent in anticipation of this years Bristol weekend, but not in January!

Re: New forum members - PLEASE READ

So... I just tried adding a post about the birdie bash, and it wouldn't let me. When I went to 'submit' it went to a page sating something along the lines of 'there is no such topic'. Is this just me, or something to do with the new restrictions on posting? Off to work now, but I'll try again this e...
