My top tips for some sweet, sweet sidearm action: 1. Get hold of some old school Shaw Brothers kung fu films! Seriously, sidearm is kung fu! 8) 2. Throw from the hip (see 1). Short reach back, bring your elbow in close and extend on release. Keep it simple. 3. Keep it low and level for starters. Lea...

The concept of one-dayers is mighty fine, I'm digging that :) Running them during the Tour months, i.e. when it's warm, could also have a better effect on new players than the winter doubles does!! Better geographical spread and the 1-day nature of a 1-day event would surely attract new/more players...

Great day, really enjoyed it :D Don't think I've trashed or been trashed as much in a day! Can't believe we lost to Double Impact (so you finally decided what to call yourselves by the end of the day?!) after so many of their drives barely made it off the tee  Close round with Sue in the af...

Oh no, it's a special Team Quarry Park can of 7-Down  Even that's optimistic for you if that's how man...

concede
Verb
[-ceding, -ceded]
1. to admit (something) as true or correct

By definition, we concede a victory! Actually, our humility couldn't take it, we'll just have to take option b!

Eh, if throwing 150 sharks into Skillshots is mandatory for the day, you're in trouble :)

My sidearm should be back off holiday next weekend. If it didn't catch malaria or hook up with some transvestite skip shot, I'll put you to shame Westy

CADS coaching in Manchester Aug 6/7

Slightly short notice, but... Is anybody interested in doing some coaching at the Royal School for the Deaf in Manchester on Weds 6th / Thurs 7th August next week? They run a CADS activity week every year, and disc golf has proved to be a huge success over the past few years. It doesn't matter what ...

Yup, Rik's the man to speak to. It'll no doubt be appearing on the site before long, but May 1st is just the opening to the public, the full launch will be a few weeks down the line. The course was designed mainly by an American player who was passing through - Emmett (sp?) I think his name was, tho...

New course in Scotland!

Our northern brethren will be pleased to hear there's a new course about to open in Scotland! Drumlanrig castle is located just north of Dumfries, easily accessible off the A76. The grounds are truly stunning, and once you're into the woods, the golf's pretty good too! Plenty to do before and after ...

That was superb! I've already had loads of really positive feedback from people that saw it :) Missed the first couple of minutes, but no doubt there'll be a repeat or two on over the next few days on digital. Andy's getting something together for the front page on the site. To be fair, Bruce's shot...

Apparently the BDGA site has been redesigned

I got age checked for 21 (!!) when buying a hammer last week, so I can only assume that you have to be over 21 to throw one.
