Re: Finals in BDGA Tour events

All of Jester's opening arguments are sound. On balance, I'd rather play more golf, so for me, 4 rounds is best. Whether the 4th round should or shouldn't be 18 holes is up for debate. Banter on the forum

Banter's part of the golf community in this country. And it's part of the way this forum works. That's fine and dandy: keep it up. However don't forget that for newcomers, their first experience of the british disc golf may well be this forum. Indeed, it seems that if you want to find an invite to a...

oh god i dont buy them! i spend far too much money on being amazing ;) their all daddys :) James, if you spent one tenth of the time you do on 'being amazing' on improving your grammar, you may just drag it into line with the civilised world. Ten errors in a two-line post? That's some kind of recor...

Re: BDGA Tour 1 - Whitcombe Frostbreaker 2011

Was hoping to play at the Frostbreaker in my attempt to play more than just the Cyclone this year. Unfortunately in my recent house move I have lost my disc bag! It looks likely that all my discs are gone forever though there is a slim chance that they will turn up (long story). The upshot of this ...

I think the OP misses two important points. Firstly, as pointed out by Tom, the stats assume the OBs were caused by missing the long shot. Further to that it assumes that all the 3s were due to laying up (Yes I missed a 5 foot putt) In practice I missed the short island 5 times out of 5 and hit the...

Maybe people shouldn't wear studs?

Let's imagine a future where Del decides to install concrete pads at Quarry Park. That's the Holy Grail for a golf course. Do you think he's going to think for a minute about football boots?
