Looks good to me. I also see you've used different shades for red/green so that it works for colour-blind people too. Nice!

Re: BDGA Tour 7 - Croydon Cylone 2011

The copper beeches on the course are really prominant so I thought picking them out on the map would help players orientate, esp first-time vistors to Lloyd park. I'll see if a key would help. I don't think a key would improve the design. it would clarify the trees, but it's not that big a deal tha...

Re: PDGA iPhone app is out!!!

I've used this app a couple of times and it's fantastic - really easy to use and setup and it makes scoring really easy. Our Oxford courses aren't officially in the PDGA database, so we can't use the Round Rating feature. However, I can't get too distressed about others' complaints about this featur...

Re: BDGA Tour 7 - Croydon Cylone 2011

On hole 7, do you know the distance from the tee to the OB line? It's around 60-70y from tee to dropzone. The distance to the line obv reduces the further back from the DZ you come down to around 25-30y perpendicular to the tee. This is another decision hole. Just how much of the OB will you carry?...

Re: BDGA Tour 7 - Croydon Cylone 2011

Maroon circles are just copper beeches rather than regular trees? That's correct. With my designer-hat on, I too wondered about the difference. You did the same last year. It's a nice touch, but at risk of introducing confusion. [note: this comment is nit-picking to the n th degree. the trees are r...

Re: BDGA Tour 7 - Croydon Cylone 2011

As ever, the map is looking exquisite. Great work.

The course looks tough! Looks like there's now barely a single straightforward hole on the course. Hole 9 is even more deadly than last year.

Can't wait to play the course!

Re: BDGA National Tour 2011

Regarding using only three competitive events: 1. I expect most BDGA players' response to this suggestion is: meh . 2. Do I think it's a silly suggestion? Not really, but changing the terms of engagement, midway through a season , will generate more hot air and controversy and hand-wrangling than go...

Re: DGMapper.com - Disc Golf Tournament Map

This is really cool - well done.

One thing that would be great would be to be able to specify a date range. For example, I'm going to Seattle in August. I'd like to be able to see what's coming up on the specific dates that I am there.

Thanks for the breakdown of finances Del. I for one do not begrudge the cost. I think it is fantastic value. Steve - I think the fact that your post caused Del to reply quite strongly should be taken to heart. Del is Mr Nice Guy on this forum; to get a strong reply from him must be taken as indicati...

Re: New 10 Basket Course in Bristol

Great work Matt - this is excellent development. Looks like it will be a unique course in the UK in that a LOT of the holes tighten up towards the pin. This is a good thing - a lot of holes in the UK have open pins, whereas your course is going to require accuracy approaching the hole, not just from...

Re: 3 Squad Match Play 1 Day event at Essex in July???

Oxdisc are likely to make a trip to QP in lieu of Whitcombe tourny. Will be great if others want to make a good day/weekend of it, too. We could call it the Anhyzer Cup or something.

Re: Cliffhanger - big outdoor sports show 2/3 July

This opportunity is excellent - I'd love to help but I'm afraid I won't be able to attend. What to do? Well, having attended and been partly involved in similar things in the mountain biking world, here's some thoughts about what could work. With two tennis courts, I think you have a fair few option...
