In the absence of Village's weather thread, the Met Office says: UK Outlook for Friday 13 Aug 2010 to Sunday 22 Aug 2010: There should be a good deal of dry weather for much of England and Wales into the weekend, but across northwest Scotland it may turn cloudier with an increased chance of rain. Th...

Matts talking about a doubles match up before EC 10 to test the water rather than the actual event if it is to happen. AS Andy says a 2 day event would be easier, maybe I will just send to two nations then, who would be the best from those three? I would say Dutch and French but thats mainly becaus...

Is 3 days too big an ask? In the ideal world, 3 days provides for a perfect tournament - long enough to play, relax and party. However, is it practical? People would have to travel on Thursday and Monday, so it's 5 days....! I'm not saying you shouldn't do it as a 3 day event (and given the format y...

Rich - I'm loving your enthusiasm; you are generating some great ideas for DG in the UK. To borrow two phrases: Nike: Just Do It Wayne's World: If you book them they will come Your idea is great, and ultimately, it can only be tested by putting it into action. Your experience from One Day Wonder and...

Grea idea. Making it happen would be a huge logistical challenge, but it would make for a superb event.

Scandinavian open results: visual analysis

Hi
Scandinavian Open results - analysed!
The player page here. Click around (and check out Charlie's shocking run of bogies in the last round - fair enough after so many gruelling holes, I think)

And the course profile page here. Hole 8 - massively bogeyed hole. Anyone played that course?

Enjoy!

Sounds great. Glad it's 2×18 and not 36 as mentioned in your FB message!

Am trying to arrange a Sunday Day pass with my wife - should be there with a couple of other Oxford people.

Actually, I can now attend Cyclone, for the first time in two years, so I'm delighted by the change.

Although, I can't now attend Burnlaw, so I'm also saddened.

Jared - can you keep the flight but travel up to Burnlaw instead? It's the same weekend, and a fantastic tournament. Yes, it's a lot further to travel than Croydon... BTW - let's not forget that this date change won't have been done lightly. Don't forget that all the TDs are volunteering to run thes...

Hi Charlie Good luck with your endeavour! Are you aware you're up against a couple of well established DG networking sites already: http://discgolfer.ning.com/ http://www.discgolfunited.com/ The second of those is designed to monitor handicaps and summer leagues. What is your plan for competing with...

Also I've noticed that if you're on the main Tour dashboard and try to use the jump to the player dashboard, it doesn't work. I'll get onto Tableau about that, because it's a bug!

One little thing I've noticed, on my page I've got 10 rounds;5 more and 5 less rated rounds. But in the totals it has 5 less and in the bar it has 2 and 3 at different places in the bar for more ?! That's what you get for switching divisions through the year  Fixed now so that that doesn't be...

Hi all The BDGA HOT LIST now includes the Bristol Results.... I'd echo all of Jester's comments. Loved the course and am in awe of the number of man hours that must have gone towards putting the course in place. Thanks to Matt and the team for everything. Things I thought were really fantastic: - the course - the course booklet. sweet. - Tom's sandwiches were ...

That's quality - what else would a Ryanair tournament look like?
- 50p surcharge to use the tees
- Basket maintenance tax - for every time you hit the chains
- No disc bags for free - pay to take one on the course
- etc....
