Re: The scoring system debate (again)

2 22
3 17
4 14
5 12
6 10
7 9
8 8
9 7
10 6
11 5
12 4
13 3
14 2
15 1

Re: The scoring system debate (again)

I like the idea of F1 style points and think this could work. The scoring system could be set to allocate points down to 15th place. looking at the tour attendance stats this would mean most people would have a chance of getting them in every division, only a few at the bottom would miss out (with a...

Re: Hyzer Cup 2010 - 2011

thanks Bruce....although i'm still not much clearer

I have during my research discovered that Hyzer is used in urban street language as the super cool word to use for rectal cavity invasion when consent has not been given by the recipient!

Re: Hyzer Cup 2010 - 2011

Hyzer or Hyser? Anhyser or Anhyzer?

Both spellings seem to be used interchangeably on various forums.... which is correct?

Disc Golf Development in the UK

If it was upto you.... and Time/Resource/Money was no object.....

How would you go about raising awareness of the sport, increasing the player base, developing new permanent courses etc?

I've deliberately not put any feeder ideas in here... I want to hear what you think

Completely agree we need longer and more challenging courses.... Ronchine is one of my favourite courses even though I completely suck at it. If they still did an Easter tourney I'd be there every year! Neither of the other three holes you mentioned do I think are unfair.... rolling away, going in t...

Re: Croydon Cyclone: Hole One...

It was just scenario trying to emphasise the point about the harshness of the penalty. The true crux of the matter is fairness and I believe this hole is unfair in relation to the rest of the course..... on any other hole if you throw OB you add a penalty and carry on (from the point you crossed OB)...

Re: Croydon Cyclone: Hole One...

My suggestion... no drop zones, no penalties..... for any missed circle you play the next shot from the same lie... At USDGC they will now play so that after every OB you continue from the same lie, with penalty, on every hole. That's harsh. But then again it's fair in a way that it doesn't put so ...

Re: Croydon Cyclone: Hole One...

Final thought on #1 - I really hope each of us can take a step back and look at the design as something that if we learn to play within the level of skill we have, not only will we each pick up shots on many other players who can’t learn this, but our general game will improve. For the lay-uppers b...

Not there, so difficult to really comment...... but I feel the retee maybe a touch too harsh.... Imaginary group..... just a pairing..... of no discernable difference in skill level Player 1 - goes for the 2, lands just inside the circle and is good to go, he get's his two Player 2 - goes for the 2,...

I would think that these mats would be ideal..... if it's wet the meshing should prevent the ground from cutting up and also provide ressitance against slippage....people wearing on studs might have a sticking issue...buit on the whole I would think that this is a very good solution!
