Excellent, so I shall be wearing my Goretex UV Windstoppa High-Wicking Low-Pilling Reversible Activity Suit with Beta-Ceramides and Anti-Ageing Granules, over a base layer of goose grease and Ambre Solaire Factor 40. Thanks for all your predictions... Big Putt, BOF By George I think he's got it! :l...

Depends on the source I guess. http://www.weather.co.uk says showers all weekend, while http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather says sun.

I am sure it will be fine to just pack for the sunny option.

I would stick with the Breeze. I don't think there is any harm in throwing one mid range. You will only learn how to make it do what you want. Once you have gotten so comfortable throwing it that you know what you CAN'T do with it, the you can look for something to fill that gap. What are you lookin...

I would definately be interested in seeing the site you are talking about. I live just outside Cambridge, and have been looking for a good place that the council might approve. I will be in France this weekend for a tournament, but if you have some spare time next week maybe you can show me around. ...

At Discology's shop you can browse by manufacturer.Once you enter the shop section, you will find a "Shop By Brand" box in the upper right corner in line with the pictures of the cards accepted. We don't have a browse by weight section, as it is a lot of work to set up, and we don't really have the ...

Very tight at the top. I bet with the European Open coming up, some people would like to see better scores coming from Europes Top Pros. Especially with Nate Doss, Avery Jenkins, Ken Climo and Dave Feldberg coming over. All of who are ahead of any Eurpean Based players. I did notice that neither Chr...

As appealing as that sounds. I will be leaving early next year, which is one of the main reasons I stood down from the Sec. Position at the last AGM.

I don't know any people right in Austin. Tim might be able to put you in touch with Michael Olse. He came out for the British Open last year, and lives there. He is a very good player. He and Jay Reading just won the PDGA Pro World Doubles at the Circle R Disc Golf Ranch jst south of Austin. That is...

l would recommend the 8th Oktoberfest in Red Rock, TX. http://www.pdga.com/schedule/event.php?TournID=5746 It isn't very far outside of Austin, TX. You can stay in Austin and play at different courses every day without driving more than 30 mins. There are local courses that have midweek non sanction...

There might be room for one at the Walnuts or The Bridge House in Beaminster, but not likely. You can check for places in Bridport. I know some people are staying out there.

Just to be clear... By "higher standard" I mean to the standard we are actively encouraging at the moment. Higher than an event not on the BDGA National Tour. I am not talking about cash payouts and all that. Will possibly start a new thread to discuss this. :)

I wouldn't have mided going, but I too had Hyde Park and the Foo Fighters calling me. Gold Cirlce Tickets at that, no way I could pass it up!! I do think that the BDGA Events seem to plug up the calendar as much as possible. I would like to see less Tour events, and the ones that are put on the Tour ...

Mealticket is right... Bruce, Tim, Angus and myself do absolutely nothing to promote or grow the sport. All we do is debate when we could be working as TD's, or helping to introduce the sport to busloads of Highland youths, or serving on the Board of Directors for the BDGA. Shame on us, lesson learn...

I am still in favor of the 3 x 18 + finals. It is a personal preference obviously. Luckily though it does make since in that there are no problems accomodating bigger fields. I think the format allows plenty of golf to played and is easier to run from a TD stand point as well.

I would think that if the Board made any effort to keep us up to date on issues at hand, we wouldn't be on here hounding the only Board member who seems to try and relate any information. Since this rules infraction occured all that has happened is that we were notified by a BDGA member who was obvi...
