I agree. What does this have to do with payouts?
So now we have to stay on topic? I've been off topic since halfway through my first post. :)

I am pretty sure that Scott, Rick and I will be out there. Any idea how many people you are expecting? Is it more likely to be choose your partner or random doubles?

Looking forward to seeing pics of the course. Is it actually on the school grounds?

Ok, I'll take your word for it. I'm still not sure how that works, is it something along the lines of your entry price is £8 higher and you get a disc that's worth £8, but the TD got it for £5 wholesale? Regardless, you have to pay £8 more... Here is how it works. If say the entry fee is £10. 10 pe...

I don't think the BDGA National Tour should be used to benefit individuals. If a landowner wants to benefit from Disc Golf, then the course should be promoted and improved upon at thier expense in hope of attracting regular players and members. That is what it comes down to as far as I am concerned....

Why? When I go to the cinema, I don't expect to recieve my ticket price in merch to take home with me, I go for the pleasure of the experience. When I play pool in the pub, I play to win cos I like winning, and like the respect I get from my peers for it That would be (should be) the difference bet...

While I would like to see a payout structure for the BDGA National Tour Events, I think it would involve a lot of changes that maybe the members aren't ready to make. As Del noted, having a Pro payout would most likely result in the BDGA having to offer more divisions. This would, and I am only gues...

Maybe you are releasing it right.

It could be a specialty disc, meant for 20ft rollers.

Re: Putter Recommendations?!

I think my one is starting to look like a pringle ... not quite got to taco stage yet  That means it is just getting broken in. You should keep that one for anything inside of thirty meters, and add a new one to your bag that you will be able to depend on for up shots. That is if you have to ...

I know Rick and I are planning on coming out. We were talking about bringing out some discs and maybe trying to throw together some kind of fun event. Either that or just come out and play, nothing set yet. Anyway, we will definately be out. Let me know when you are all planning on being out there. 8)

Disc Golf Trouble

As I was flipping through channels today, I saw a man with disc in hand! Apparently on an upcoming episode of Freshman on Campus one of the guys goes to try his hand at disc golf. It should be airing either Sat at 7:00pm or Tues at 6:30pm on the Trouble channel (607 on SKY). Figured it might be wort...

It might be worth seeing how many of you would be up for really good 1 day event. May not be part of the BDGA Tour, but still could be organized. It would be a Saturday event. I am sure we can arrange camping. On Sunday people can get together and play if they want, or check out the sites/shopping i...

Disc Golf on the BBC

http://www.zippyvideos.com/975937510205 ... cgolfonbbc

This is the spot they did on BBC Look East leading up to the Biritsh Open.

Great spot, only there are about 1200 courses in the US not 12000 as Tim says.

They had a whole bunchof them set up at USDGC for the EDGE thing. They look funny, but they catch great, that netting ensures that you never have a disc slip through the chains.

We need you...

Anyone who is willing to come help out this Sunday (Oct 30th) is more than welcome. We will be putting in paving slabs on the short 9 course at Uni of Essex. Shouldn't take too long. Then we have the rest of the day to get some rounds in on the short or long course. We are planning on getting there ...

It's hard to specify one disc, it really depends on the course. I would have to go with a Firebird at Essex.

Re: Innova Wraith

The roadrunner reminds me of the champion sidewinder..

I think Tim was hinting about the design, not the flight.
