Re: BDGA#7 - The Lancashire Hotshot - 20th/21st June 2015

The only real groan/moan I had was the confusion on Sunday start time, not that it affected me greatly, but if you publish a start time, you need to stick with it. I don't know what the story was there, maybe it was just a misunderstanding or rumor that spread, but as soon as I heard about it on Sa...

Re: BDGA#7 - The Lancashire Hotshot - 20th/21st June 2015

Thank you for all the feedback. I appreciate all the detail comments about some of the specific holes (there were some experiments in there and some lacking fine tuning in terms of trimming back branches here and there - some of these holes can be raised up to 8,9,10s I can see it!). We appreciate t...

Re: BDGA#7 - The Lancashire Hotshot - 20th/21st June 2015

The CTS Flying Disc Shop will be at tournament HQ from Friday onwards. I have a selection of fresh imports ready to bring, but without bringing a huge container full, I will no doubt be unable to meet everyone's requirements... unless... you tell me what to bring! Whether you're coming to play, cadd...

Re: BDGA#11 - Burnlaw Battle for Bertha - 4th/5th October

I'm sitting in the sun by hole 1 at burnlaw and thinking about the penultimate tourney of the tour on 12-13 September. To those who played the modified course last autumn - what did you think about the holes at the top? Extended hole 1? And other alterations? The plantation dog left par 4 will not f...

There was a digit wrong on the account details on the invite and 'thanks for registering' page. This has now been corrected. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Interesting stuff.
We're in safe hands. Agree it's time to change and I like the main points raised by seamus.
Look forward to the questionnaire!

Re: BDGA#11 - Burnlaw Battle for Bertha - 4th/5th October

We got the waiver this time, if we need it. Paul and I are going to place a 30' mando pole. This will make hitting the temple less likely to some extent. Probably going with replay shot rather than a dz. I'll have a chat with Gary in light of these points tomorrow. If he decides to stick with the 'h...

Re: BDGA#11 - Burnlaw Battle for Bertha - 4th/5th October

I also agree that a mando and wider OB could do the trick, but due to the new roof on the temple, that's the way it is, although we are waiting for the green light for the pdga following the request being made. It's a great green and improved hole now so if Gary says hit and ob then we have to go ah...

Re: BDGA#11 - Burnlaw Battle for Bertha - 4th/5th October

Hole 2 temple. We did shift to standard rule for the temple (and the shed) a couple of years ago but we have reverted back for the temple because it is a sacred building, as arranged by Gary. Therefore a spotter must always walk ahead to the green to get a clear view.
