I think I make that 44 registrants as of tonight. So four spots left for any more late-comers! I've just got back to Paris from spending the w/e at Whitcombe. What a perfect w/e it would have been for some DG! Calm, a touch of frost . . . let's hope for the coming w/e too. I took the opportunity to ...

Please check your registrations and division!

ok - as of today (16th Jan) I think we're at 41 registrants, of which the Open Division takes the lion's share! Two rather small (but perfectly formed) Am divisions. Please check to see if I've got you (a) registered and (b) in the correct division. Let me know asap if anything's wrong and/or if you...

Classic report

It rained from 7pm Friday until 4pm Saturday - that's 21 hours - which made me very angry. Yup, completely pointless. How being angry with the weather will have made it any better is beyond me. Still, only a couple of tyros dropped out, damp, everyone else toughed it out. Altogether, 50 players, whi...

Thursday news

The course is now (almost) ready to play - just some signs to go out and steps to cut near Cut to Oblivion. Late entries and withdrawals make the numbers a little chaotic, but I think we're almost at 50 players. The beer is stilled and the Whitcombe workers are testing it - just to make sure. Latest...

News

ok, so it's been raining solidly for 24 hours now and everything is a bit damp. But the sun has just broken through and I have to go shopping! Hopeless. We've now got 43 players registered and course preparation is underway. The big news is this: please DO NOT use the main farm entrance. Please come...

Contacting me

My Blackberry is on the blink, so please send emails to my home email toby.green@wanadoo.fr and don't try and call my mobile! When I get to Whitcombe I'll get my payg UK mobile going so you can reach me by phone - but until then, it's just emails please.

Registrants so far

So, we've just about three weeks to go and I've got 34 registrants booked in. So, thanks to those of you who've done that impossibly hard task of telling me you want to play! Any more out there who think they're coming but can't muster the energy to wing me an email? Go on! You know you want to! Loo...

BDGA Tour # 7 - Whitcombe Classic 2009

Here we go again. Loos have been ordered. First entries received. And the sun has come out. Must be time for the Classic - you know it makes sense!

This year: more beer, homemade sausages (we've got a sausage-making machine!) - oh, and a little DG.

See you all there!
