Cyclone 2009

Thanks to all CDGC, your hard work paid off. Special thanks to our American friends Val Jenkins, Avery Jenkins, Nat Doss and Jesse, although I may not try his throwing tips! My enthusiasm for the game has been renewed when seeing the world champion stuck in a bush I managed to avoid all weekend (I d...

prizes for all

I wasn't going to continue the Open division "Move Down" consolation prize; credit crunch and all that...

...but if it's not going to be me, then I may have to re-think this prestigious honour.

Bring on the injured open players!

(Matt, hope you get better soon)

Cyclone - it was good

I thought this was a well run, well organised tournament and I appreciated the reduced rates at the hotel too. Thank you to all who helped although there was a slight problem with the bar meal in the evening, some confusion on what was being offered. It worked out in the end. On the course, a number...

There's a room at the Inn...

Accommodation Update (for me) I managed to get a B&B at Druimnacroish Hotel (http://www.druimnacroish.co.uk/) just outside Dervaig. The rooms are average priced at £32 - 40 for a double per person per night (incl. breakfast and all are en-suite - they've got their own bog, Del). I had a lot of troub...

Beaminster Weather Etc

Hi,

BBC weather says Wind and Rain for the weekend (so no change for Beaminster!). Might be travel difficulties on M5 (currently, there are "incidents" and lane closures) and this may be due to the snow.

AGM 2006 Anyone?

I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on the proposed agenda. There are quite a few positions needing filled - are you one of those ready to take up the challenge of getting disc golf on your local map? I'm not, but I've been secretary, so I've done my bit! Do you want to pay more for membershi...

As a fairly distant traveller to Essex, I would like to see some accommodation option - then I would be more inclined to come down.
