Re: Conflict of interest policy

Should we have a conflict of interest policy? If we were registered as a charity, and I'm pretty sure that was a goal of the BDGA for this year, we should certainly have one. It needn't be complex but we should. As Rich rightly said, we are a small group now, but we hopefully won't always and if the...

Re: PDGA rules update

Hey Rich, To me it sounds like you will require a waiver for that ruling on izzy's elbow but you should be fine to get pdga ratings as long as you don't add the stroke penalty to making someone retee/throw from previous lie. However, I thought the buncr rule was allowing some to play it as it lies b...

Re: EUROPEAN DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016

This is all very interesting. As far as I could tell, in previous years most people who wanted to go could because of the cost/time barriers for others eligible. Maybe that's not actually been the case and it sounds like it certainly won't be going forward if we have fewer spots allocated and more p...

Eurotour 2016

http://pdga-europe.com/2015/11/eurotour ... -calendar/

The calendar has just been published for the Eurotour and 2 major changes have taken place. They've reduced the number of events to just six and axed the Am division.

Re: BDGA tour 2016

I agree Seamus. The several days after the board put out that statement was pretty ridiculous and I think a few people lost touch with reality of what the bdga is for a while. Sorry to hear you took that so hard Tom. I hope it hasn't put you off working with bdga. As for the Eurotour, I do hope that...

Re: BDGA National Matchplay champs and cornwall open 23/24th

Overall Nationals this year was a great success I think. It's a shame more people couldn't make it to see the new course down in Cornwall. Obviously it is very far away for most so it's understood why. Del already mentioned all the facilities on site and with the enthusiasm and shop ready to go I th...

P.s. I'd love to see some of the stats on the tough par 3's. Did anyone get a 2 on hole 4 or 15?

Re: The Battle at Bluebell Woods - British Open '15

Congrats to the winners of another great British Open. I had a great time up at Foxlake even if my game(mind) deserted me after I took a 6 on the 15th sunday morning  Thanks again Seamus for putting on a great event and pushing the level of disc golf in the UK. The difficulty and length of the...

Re: BDGA#11 - Burnlaw Battle for Bertha - 4th/5th October

Indeed it was a great weekend. The weather turned out much better than predicted with most the rain coming down overnight. Phew. Still plenty of wind for my liking to contend with though. I have to admit I was pretty worried seeing the changes coming out just a week before the event but I did enjoy ...

I Think I now have to attend the nationals. Not that I wouldn't have come considering it's at Whitcombe. :D

I'll confirm as soon as possible about getting there on the friday to help out but I may have to work. :(

Cheers,

Hey del.

Will we be able to park in the grass up at the top of seventeen to camp? Planning on coming up in the van this weekend.

Cheers

Just signed up. Woot!

I did it on the mobile and formatting was a bit funny so just want to confirm that it worked.

Keep up the good work Phil and Tom!

Re: BDGA #3- The Battle at Bluebell Woods

Just had a look at the new map and pictures Seamus. Can't wait to play the course again. I am hoping to make the Tournament in the March but I have just committed to playing the Dutch open so we'll see if I can make both.

Good luck in preparation either way.

Re: BDGA Tour 2014

Could I please make a request for Event 7 – 5/6th Jul or 12/13th Jul. The UK Ultimate tour has a confirmed major tour event on the 12/13th of July and seeing as the disc golf schedule is still in the making could we please avoid that weekend. Obviously, if it has to be that weekend then it will but ...

seamus,

I'll be there. Seriously looking forward to playing another new UK course.

I'm also considering bringing my west suit depending on the weather forecast for that weekend. The ropes course looks ridiculously fun but I can't say I love the cold...

Re: Hyzer Cup 2012-2013

If you can't find one final person, though I'm sure you will, we could just have one cutthroat group 2v1. In case you haven't heard it before, it's where the doubles pair will play by normal rules and single will have opportunity for one rethrow per hole be it a retee if he shanks his drive or a sec...

Charlie and all concerned with essex disc golf, Will we be playing the same course layout as last years bdgaopen for euros this summer? Myself and a couple other croydon players were hoping to get out to essex at some stage in summer and would love to know what course we will be playing so we have a...

Re: What IS you bag????

I carry a No Excuses disc golf bag. They are the best bags available in my opinion. They carry 15+ discs as well as any amount of gear including jackets, bottles and all personal items with ease. I really like the fact that the outside pockets are spacious and at fully enclosed. The bag I have is th...

Congrats to Jester and Sam bringing home victory for Croydon!

Way to crush it in the final Jester. It was a clinic on playing really smart golf and taking your opportunities well.
