So if Tapani joins up to the BDGA it is very likely that he will be playing in the top 16... I am looking forward to play in QP this weekend, but in the "not the nationals". I have now played close to 10 training rounds in QP, and really wanna have a go at an official stroke play round as well. So ...

Is concrete really a good idea given the British weather? No, concrete really only works when it is warm and dry. Some courses in Finland had concrete but pretty much all are changing for the artificial grass pads. They are by far the best all-round tee solution and work in every weather. Funny det...

No problemo. By the way the address works without the 10 in the middle as well. http://quarrypark.forumer.com/

Yeah, I will link it the QP website as well, but let's try to get some content in first.

does Del get an invite every year, being a Hall of Fame member? Or did he qualify by some other route? Will any of us mere mortals ever get an invite or is it via Euro events and top 5 finishes etc..? Is it just the British Open (as a EuroTour event) that gives us a chance to qualify for a place at...

I like this format potentially. It feels like it would work better in very well attended tournaments though. Couple of scoring examples from last winter series: First with 24 players http://keskustelu.frisbeeliitto.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1249#p14361 Then with 42 http://keskustelu.frisbeeliitto.com...

In Finland this same discussion last year led to not having a tour at all this year. Instead we just had individual events all around the country. Of which about half were 2 day events, and the other half 1 day events. Previously we used (and still use in the unofficial national winter tour) a hybri...

Re: Croydon Cyclone: Hole One...

My suggestion... no drop zones, no penalties..... for any missed circle you play the next shot from the same lie... At USDGC they will now play so that after every OB you continue from the same lie, with penalty, on every hole. That's harsh. But then again it's fair in a way that it doesn't put so ...

If you can't manage a 14metre green at that distance, don't go for it. simples. As for dunc's easy 3 option. Well as comments have shown, it's not an easy 3 in the wind etc.. I say make the layup bit smaller if people think it's an easy boring 3, because from what I saw of the weekend showed me tha...

Thanks for a great tournament, had a lot of fun and met a bunch of great people. Big hand for all the organizers, you did a great job and you should be proud of yourselves! Many things were done a bit different from what I'm used to back in Finland, but that's not to say they were in any way inferio...

The event is open to anyone :) As you've provided your PDGA rating as 938 you would be classified as an Open player in this event as the cut off in the UK is 920. Jester, the TD, I'm sure will reply at some point today but for further information there is an event invite which you can download. The...

Hi,
Is Croydon Cyclone open for international players? I'm a starting (PDGA 938-rated) player from Finland, and would be interested in competing.

If it is, is there an IBAN-account number where I can pay the sign up fee?
