I like how hard Westy is trying to convince us that he is only messaging on "his own" time, not the companies.

Originally we stopped sending invites to non members as a means of saving money. This was mainly for those who had requested to receive everything by post. I still e-mailed non current members, and regularly sent the invites out to a uni ultimate egroup and a few others. I don't know if this is stil...

I don't think one missed mailing necessarily means we have to redo the whole system. When mailing and e-mailing invitations was my job, i often received complaints from people who didn't like receiving multiple e-mails. I think the current system works good, especially for the number of members the ...

I believe that was worked out as his national PDGA Rep was at the event. Tim had said that assurance from a National Rep that the membership is being put through would be sufficient.

As long as you aren't moving around and the flash is off, you shouldn't have any problems.

I think the way West wrote that it should be read is the way it is intended. Christian Sanstrom is the World Distance Record holder and reigning BO Champ. I am a local challenger.

Definately could have been worded better though.

Well, unless their are some exceptions to EuroTour Guidlines that we are unaware of, it is hard to imagine more than a few of the Tour events being able to meet the requirements for sanctioning.

I would think there should be some light shed on all this soon.

The EuroTour Guidelines say that each country will submit a list of events that they wish to be part of the Euro Challenge schedule. It also states these events must meet the Euor Challenge standards which involve payouts. Are there any plans to make any of the BDGA Tour events part of the Euro Chal...

I think they are very similar to Firebirds. I usually have some around in case I run out of Firebirds. They skip more than a FB though. Other than that, I feel they are interchangable.

Traditional Golfers paired with Disc Golfers?

We (Rick and I) have been approached by the base to see about helping to set up an event at the base Golf Course. They are interested in working Disc Golf in somehow. We have come up with a doubles format event. There will be a Disc Golf course set up to run along side the golf course. We will share...

The way this usually works is that BDGA members are offered spots by the BDGA Board depending on their end of season Powerstats ranking. If you haven't already done so, you may want to talk to the Board members about you wanting to be the Team Captain. Apologies if you have already done this, and ha...

Re: Star Max - Distance Driver

Looks like a good potential for anyone on the tour if you don't want to be able to flip it over ... I don't agree. I have one (not in the bag). I threw it the same as my Tee Rex, and it seemed less stable. It does go a long way though. Could be that I expected it to be super stable, so I flipped it...
